Dubbed by friends and family as ‘the holiday of a lifetime’, my most recent trip to New Zealand has created lasting memories of the ultimate road trip. With no real plan, my boyfriend and I set out on our big adventure driving the length and breadth of the two Islands in a campervan. Each morning we woke in a new place enveloped by the rainforest or sheltered by the mountains, the sounds of the lapping water from the vast lakes beyond. My playlist brings back the feeling of freedom to explore what the wide world has to offer.

  1. Brighter Than Gold | The Cat Empire
  2. Shotgun | George Ezra
  3. Shut Up and Dance | Walk The Moon
  4. Riptide | Vance Joy
  5. L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N | Noah and The Whale
  6. Wonder | Emeli Sandé, Naughty Boy
  7. There Will Be Time | Mumford & Sons, Baaba Maal

My holiday has highlighted how fortunate we are to live with the Cornish countryside on our doorstep. Once we have navigated through these unchartered waters, I look forward to bringing my family back together to create more special memories to look back on in the future. The Botanist would be the perfect holiday destination, close enough to home but a world away from the day-to-day.
